Miguel A. Ruiz
Miguel A. Ruiz (Miguel) is a respected and experienced trial attorney. He often tries significant cases in state and federal courts, often to verdict, including those involving a wrongful death or catastrophic injury. Due, in large part, to his skills in the courtroom, Miguel has been involved in litigating significant cases not only in Illinois, but other states. Through his work, Miguel has earned the respect of his peers and a reputation as a skillful and ethical trial attorney.

The President of the Society of Trial Lawyers, Miguel is a member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. In addition to his Illinois license, Miguel holds a license to practice law in the State of Wisconsin (inactive status), and he is admitted to practice before the Northern District of Illinois, the Western District of Wisconsin and the United State Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Outside of the office, Miguel is active in community-wide efforts to improve Latino participation on the Illinois judiciary. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and the Wisconsin State Bar, and is a former member and Chair of the City of Chicago Board of Ethics. He has recently become a fellow of the International Society of Barristers, which is comprised of attorneys from across the country. This membership is by invitation only, and is limited to attorneys with proven trials records.
