Jennie Miskell

Jennie Miskell joined Cogan & Power, P.C. as an Associate in July 2018. She concentrates her practice on representing plaintiffs in railroad-related personal injury cases filed under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”).

Prior to joining Cogan & Power, P.C., Jennie worked as an attorney at other Chicagoland personal injury firms, gaining extensive experience representing plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury cases including auto and trucking accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”) cases. Jennie has extensive litigation and trial experience and has successfully negotiated and settled several personal injury cases.

Additionally, Jennie completed several externships throughout Illinois during her law school career, including the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic in Rockford, IL and the Lake County Public Defender’s Office in Waukegan, IL.

Jennie is admitted to practice in both State and Federal Courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Other credentials and distinctions include memberships in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.
